Maybe you’ve seen or heard of these by now? Maybe you haven’t. Either way, they’re some cool fuzzy hoods that you can wear during cold weather.
In reality, they are just faux fur that has been strategically sewn into a cool shape. The hoods represent animals and you can choose which one you like best, to sport. The deal is – they are expensive. A fake fur hat with pockets that will cost you over a hundred bucks, unless you get the cap-only model for a little less. This is the same fur that you see at Clair’s Accessories and in other places where the patterns are readily applied and available.
How do they differ? Well, Spirit Hoods takes their fabric and lines it; they must stuff it too, because I feel like my head extends upward by a few inches. They make a more-durable ensemble than the ones you will find at Tilly’s and Hot Topic. If only the quality of a Spirit Hood would mix with the size of the other hoods, then there would be a perfect hood.

After I saw Becky’s pic on twitter, and how adorable she looked, I had to have one. So my husband got me one for our 1st year anniversary and I was super excited. But damn their prices! For a hat!?! Grr. I was gifted with the wolf. I love werewolves, pretty much…like True Pleasures. I’ve had crazy dreams about them, also love the Little Red Riding-hood thing. And I super-love Shakira’s song – Shewolf. I had to bring my she-wolf out of the closet. No, I’m not a furry. I don’t masturbate about mythical creatures…although I may start. (Bad Dragon, anyone? Haha.) Anyways, I got the standard wolf hood and I wanted another one, so I got a findom slave of mine to send me the Fire Wolf. At this point, I’m pretty much set. Unless they come out with one that is totally different, crazy or awesome. Also note, the sex appeal being used to advertise the product. I feel like a sexy furry wannabe, kinda, in my hoods.

How about wearing this thing? Good question! I thought, “wow, awesome!” until it came time to wear it. I became scared and worried. I’m wearing a damn furry animal head upon my own, and it makes me feel like an Indian who would sport this for status or something. Or what if people call me a furry? I’m not in a wolf suit, but this thing stands out quite a bit. Well, yes. It all happened to me. I got lots of stares, eyes following me, etc. People that I know – have called me a furry for wearing this thing and the random people in public…they howl at me. What the hell? From across the store, I hear distant howls behind my back. Referring to the site’s advertising – I don’t know what those guys are thinking when they think they are the coolest cats in town, as they sport these. In my opinion, guys wear these things for attention. Just like the instance when a guy would walk a dog, all in the hopes that some chick will walk up and pet the animal to strike up a convo. The guy thinks – “better yet! I can BE the animal…then I will get pet!” And so, the guys buy Spirit Hoods. I think the girls buy them to look cute, and they do. But I think the guys just want attention. That’s why my husband wore my Spirit Hood around his office at work, before he brought it home to me.

I just had to talk about these because they are getting popular. And I have a couple. If you want to look cute, or have fun, draw attention towards yourself, then you have to check these out. Maybe you want to role play with them, maybe you’d like to be a quasi-furry and try out the fetish. Or just see what will happen when you wear it out. Like an experiment. I’ve come to the conclusion that if I don’t like what I am wearing, and we are going out at night, if I put this thing on, no one pays attention to what I am wearing. Hahaha. And on the non-kidding side of the equation, they keep my paws warm. So I will wear my Spirit Hood if its cold out and I want to have a hood-gloves combo. Thank you, husband for the wolf hood, and thank you, my slave, for the fire wolf hood. =)
